Linda Murray

My name is Linda Murray, and I moved from Orlando to Tallahassee in 1996. After finding this “little school” I knew that it would be the perfect place for my son. After meeting with Ilona and learning more about her philosophy, I found that Betton Hills was also the perfect place for me. I joined the staff assisting the Pre-K3 class with Ms. Janet. In May of 1999, our family made Tallahassee our home, and I started teaching Pre-K4. Ryan graduated from Betton Hills in May of 2006. My youngest sound, Michael attended Betton Hills through 2nd Grade. I taught Pre-K4 until the 2008 School Year, when I joined the office staff.

I graduated from the University of Central Florida in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Additionally, I have completed several college level courses in Early Childhood Development. July of 2011, I received my Director’s Credential. I have enjoyed teaching preschool at Betton Hills. I am currently a substitute teacher in the preschool classes and continue my office duties. This makes for the great opportunity of sharing in each child’s educational experience, as well as enjoy our families at Betton Hills.
