Grading Scale
The BHPS grading scale is similar to that of the Leon County public system, though we do assign plusses and minuses at limits of each letter score. At this time, however, only our kindergarten class will receive grades in this manner. Please be advised that the grading standards are more behaviorally and educationally subjective for both our Preschool and VPK4 programs (and should be discussed with your child's teacher).
Kindergarten:
- E = 91-100%
- S+ = 81-90%
- S = 73-80%
- S- = 66-72%
- N = 61-65%
- U = 0-60%
Please be sure to ask your child's teacher about specific citizenship policies, as these play a role in determining each child's grade at every grade level.
